It’s amazing how painting gives memory a second life.

Tidal Gliding is a collection of hand-painted porcelain plates and bowls inspired by the quiet mystery of East Coast surf — black wetsuits, dark water, and the cold poetry of winter swells near Montauk.
Each piece carries a fleeting moment made visible, a study of motion, form, and reflection. These illustrations become meditations on the shapes that linger in memory and the ones we leave behind.

Every plate and bowl is individually hand-painted by Lincoln Mayne, transforming the ordinary act of dining into an encounter with art and atmosphere. Whether displayed on a wall, used in a thoughtful meal, or collected as an object of design, each piece holds a balance of function, emotion, and sculptural presence.
